I was late to the party with Alan Wake. I bought the Deluxe copy of Alan Wake 2 (which came with a digital only copy of the original game) last year, but it was only recently when I managed to play them for the first time. The original game was an absolute blast and I loved every minute of it. When I started the second one, I wasn’t too sure at first. The game just didn’t feel like the original. Sure, the graphics look absolutely amazing, but I got bored very quickly with the investigating/mind place sections. With that said, I stuck with it, and I’m glad I did. I’m now over 25+ hours in and still going. The story in interesting, maybe a little confusing in places but honestly that doesn’t bother me. Oh, and the soundtrack is brilliant.
Anyway, being as I detest digital/download only games, I had to buy the physical version of the original, so here they are in all their 3D box glory.
