Ok, this one has taken a little longer than expected! I think I’ve probably driven Sophie mad today, playing it over and over while tweaking, mixing and fine-tuning it to sound exactly how I want it.
I’m usually more at home with electronic and synth-based music, but this track just seemed to belong in the late 1950s or early 1960s. The original song was written by legendary Commodore 64 composer Matt Gray, and this version actually uses an electronic reinterpretation I created several years ago as the basis, with obviously a touch of AI magic to give it an entirely new sound.
Anyway, that’s enough music for today. Time to watch The Mummy Returns with Sophie (we watched The Mummy last week).
